Rai Technology University has been duly recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India responsible for coordinating, determining, and maintaining the standards of university education in India. This recognition has been granted under section 2(f) of the UGC Act of 1956. As such, Rai Technology University is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic excellence and providing students with a world-class education that prepares them for success in their chosen fields.

    Jharkhand Rai University came into existence in 2012 and since then it has shown a remarkable growth in terms of innovation and creativity in education. The university’s contribution towards improving the quality of education has not only received accolades nationwide but has also won awards for two consecutive years as well. In year 2014, Jharkhand Rai University received the “Best Private University” award for its outstanding contribution in the field of education by ASSOCHAM. Mr. Cherian Jacob, Registrar and Dr. Piyush Ranjan, Dean Academics accepted the award on behalf of the University. Earlier in the year 2013, the University was conferred with the prestigious ASSOCHAM National Education Excellence Award 2013 for Best Private University for Women Empowerment. Dr Savita Sengar, Vice Chancellor, Jharkhand Rai University received the award from the then Union Education Minister Dr M. Mangapati Pallam Raju. Jharkhand Rai University has continuously been working towards creating opportunities for students especially the underprivileged youth in order to make them literate, independent and employable.

    Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi awarded “Best Private University for Women Empowerment” in the year 2013 by Dr. M M Pallam Raju, Union HRD Minister in the National education excellence award organized by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) at New Delhi. Dr. Savita Sengar, Vice Chancellor of the University received the award.

    Navratri Celebration - Reet Club, Rai University on 20 October 2023
    Introduction The Navratri celebration organized by Reet Club at Rai University on [Date] was a resounding success, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and fostering a sense of unity among the participants. The event was meticulously planned and executed, adhering to a schedule that allowed attendees to immerse themselves in the festive spirit. Event Schedule 2:00-2:05 PM – Ghat Sthapna The celebration commenced with the traditional Ghat Sthapna, symbolizing the welcoming of Goddess Durga. 2:05-4:25 PM – Garba The heart of the celebration, the Garba dance, enthralled the audience with its lively and colorful performances. Participants, dressed in traditional attire, swayed to the rhythmic beats of folk music, creating an electric atmosphere filled with joy and energy. 4:25-4:35 PM – Aarti The Aarti, a sacred ritual, marked a moment of reflection and devotion as attendees paid their respects to the divine. 4:35-4:55 PM – Prasad (Snacks) Attendees were treated to a delightful spread of traditional snacks and refreshments, which were thoroughly enjoyed. 4:55-5:00 PM – Bus Departure (Staff & Faculty) Staff and faculty members who had joined the celebration departed on scheduled buses. 5:00 PM Onwards – Garba The Garba festivities continued into the night, allowing all participants to dance to their heart’s content and celebrate the spirit of Navratri. Feedback and Highlights The event received overwhelming positive feedback from attendees, who appreciated the meticulous organization and the club’s dedication to preserving and promoting cultural traditions. The Garba performances were particularly well-received, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of our students and the vibrant cultural diversity at Rai University.
